Here we are, in the parking lot of chrome

This overhead shot should give you an idea just how many bikes were parked at this event

I can't imagine for a second with Ape Hangers this high...
he rode all the way from Louisiana

This gr-r-rl went grrr! to me in the megaphone, LOL

Gee, I wonder what this Marine thinks about our current President
(You have to wonder why NC would even issue such a plate)

Nice combat Veteran plate here

In the community center hall, they had all the vintage bikes on display. Probably the most interesting to me was the 1975 Harley dressed up as a State Trooper.
I later learned the last unit of bikes was purchased in 1975 and were in service until 1978 at which point they were disbanded and sold off.
There haven't been any State Trooper bikes in the state ever since, which kinda sucks, but whaddya gonna do, call the Ghostbusters?
This bike #6 was rescued from Texas where it ended up after the sale.
It is a small miracle that it survived, and this is the only known WV State Police bike in existance today. It was brought here thanks to them.

Note the distinctive yellow on gold plate with state seal

Here's the line-up, right after the bikes were purchased in 1975 assigned to the officers. What a photo.

This plate was appropriately on a Gold Wing

I wondered if anyone would come from overseas to this rally (which has gotten a lot bigger since I was last there in 2005)

This guy is from England (L = London as a matter of fact). I have to think he's been to the Ace Cafe.
